With its opulent interiors and impeccable service, it is sure to impress even the most discerning traveler. From its world-class dining options to indulgent spa treatments, this hotel offers something to everyone looking for an unforgettable stay. Let's delve into the features and amenities that make this hotel stand out from the crowd and explore what sets it apart as one of the premier luxury hotels in Vienna.
Rosewood Vienna's headquarters is in a historic 19th-century building. They beautifully renovated this building. Moreover, the hotel is only steps from some of Vienna's luxurious shopping, dining, and historical sites.
The hotel has 99 guestrooms and suites. They blend past and present with a careful combination of artistic and textural elements. You will also find modern technological innovations. Besides, the hotel redefines what it means to dine in the capital. It offers a variety of Austrian and European dishes. Not to mention the rooftop bar with views of Vienna.
This hotel offers a unique experience. The facilities include a gym. It is open 24 hours a day. There is also Asaya Spa. In addition, it features Augustinus Bader's four treatment rooms. You can also enjoy the stunning view of St. Peter's from the relaxation room.
Nearly in Vienna's historical Innere Stadt is The Rosewood Vienna. It is in one of the most famous squares in the old town. Besides, it takes approximately 30 minutes to get from Vienna International Airport (VIE) by Uber or taxi. You could also take the VAL 2 bus to Wien Morzinplatz, then walk for approximately 10 minutes. Or, you can use another train and metro system to Stephansplatz.
If you pay attention, you might hear the notes from an opera floating about. This is Vienna, after all. Once upon a time, Mozart lived here and wrote The Abduction From the Seraglio there. Rosewood restored the structure from a former bank in 1835. It was once a bank with four buildings that crowded around a courtyard. Rosewood transformed it gradually, adding two floors on top by Viennese designer studio Kroenland, who also designed the Motto hotel.
Alexander Waterworth, Soho Farmhouse's designer, designed the bedrooms. Atelier27 in Paris curated unique artwork on the walls. You'll also find a variety of Petersplatz prints and postcards. Marie Hartig painted the hothouse flowers in the salon. This is a reference to Palmenhaus's art nouveau Palmenhaus. KNARF created the roof mural. It's a very European collaboration. However, the focus is still on Viennese creators and makers. Rosewood was the first to be established in Central Europe.
This was originally the Erste Group Bank AG headquarters. It also contains the Mozart apartment, which Mozart shared while writing Il Seraglio. Moreover, the landmark 19th-century building integrates with four other buildings. Thanks to two Viennese architecture firms, A2K and BEHF. Designer Alexander Waterworth is based in London.
The outside is striking. The interior also strikes the perfect balance between contemporary coolness on the inside and a welcoming home away from home. Rosewood has a unique sense of place. Wiener Zuckerl candy is scattered around the hotel in bowls. Besides, black and white postcards of Vienna are on shelves in bedrooms.
The muted palette of brown, wood, and neutral colors in the 99 rooms and suites evoke warmth. The suites' dressing rooms have soft gray leather and coat hangers made of leather. There is also a separate space with a Dyson dressing table. Each bathroom also has a separate bathtub. It includes a seat and separate marble showers with Maison Caulieres products. The bedrooms also have an open bar with cocktails, spirits, and ready-made drinks.
Kroenland is an interior design firm. They created the Cocktail Bar on the Rooftop. It is a modern take on an old speakeasy. One of the many signature cocktails, which represents the nine Austrian regions, is the Golden Roof. Besides, the Tyrol cocktail is a tasty concoction made with juniper line, pineapple, tequila, and caraway. Its name derives from Innsbruck's landmark 'Goldenes Dachl.' This means a golden roof.
On the sixth floor, you will also find the Neue Hoheit Brasserie. The brasserie menu includes pan-European classics like oysters, beef tartare, Wiener schnitzel, and lobster salad. Moreover, Austrian favorites include 'Beuschel.' These are bread dumplings with chives, sour cream, and eggs. You will also find many Austrian wines on the list, including French, Italian, and Spanish wines.
Furthermore, choose from a variety of breakfast specialties. Or, you could order breakfast a la carte. Try the local ham, grated horseradish, chive bread, or homemade bircher muffins. There are many ways to enjoy eggs, including poached with avocado toast and eggs Benedict. You will also have the Viennese coffee house atmosphere.
The Goldenes Quartier is named after LV, Jimmy Choo, and LV. Plenty of shops if your Rolex has been lost or you need a replacement. Vienna's original district has not seen much frippery and finery since Emperor Franz Joseph's time. He is a city patron saint. You'll find his white-mustached face everywhere.
There is also plenty to do. This includes shopping and the old favorites like the Loos American Bar or the Spanish Riding School's high-stepping horses. Also, there are many museums, such as Albertina. St Peter's Church is also nearby. You'll also find St Stephen's Gothic Barnacles, which are just a few steps away. They reflect the modern Haas Haus opposite.
