Location
The Hôtel Belles Rives is in Cap d'Antibes in the Juan Les Pins town, 223 km from Nice and 10km from Cannes, France. Offering views of the Mediterranean Sea, it sits on the waterfront of the scenic French Riviera.
The Boutique hotel has Belle Époque roots. You will find mosaic floors, stained glass windows, and hand-blown glass from Biot-based artists at the hotel. You will also find wall frescoes that Leger and Picasso have inspired.
History
The hotel used to be a rented seaside house known as the Villa St. Louis, where F. Scott Fitzgerald lived with his wife and daughter and wrote his masterpiece "Tender is the night." The house was converted into a hotel in 1929 after the family left it in 1927. Entering the hotel, you might remember the roaring twenties phase when F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife met and fell in love.
