Location

On a small island of Taha off the west coast are the luxury resort Le Taha by Pearl Resort (a small sandy islet). The closest airport to the island of Raiatea is 35 minutes away by private boat. There is also a free shuttle boat that takes about five minutes to get to the Tapuamu marina from the mainland of Taha'a. Plus, from Tapuamu, you can take a taxi or rent a car or go on an organized tour.

However, from the Raiatea Airport, the only way to get to each resort is by boat, which takes 35 minutes, or by helicopter, which takes 14 minutes.

Style and Character

The resort is a beautiful place to stay in style on a tropical island. Overwater bungalows and villas made from local materials and with thatched roofs reflect Polynesian design and architecture. The Service is always friendly. Pearl shops sell Tahitian pearls, both set and loose, and an activity desk can set up day trips to nearby pearl fields and other places. You can be as active as you want and use the tennis court, volleyball court, table tennis, and kayaking. There is also a fitness center with air conditioning and a beautiful coral garden, which is only a 5-minute boat ride from the resort's beach.
