Eat The Volcano

Accompanied by Chef Massimo Mantarro or a member of his team, you'll journey onto Etna to explore its fertile terroir. Your first stop is the town of Linguaglossa, where you'll meet with a local shepherd and taste freshly made ricotta paired with warm, just-out-of-the-oven bread. From there, you'll spend some time foraging for seasonal wild vegetables and herbs, led by the expert eyes of the culinary team. Your next stop is the contemporary Pietradolce vineyard, where you'll enjoy a wine tasting and three-course meal. Upon your return to the Hotel, the kitchen staff will prepare your vegetable and herb harvest for your dinner, so at the end of the day, you can actually say that you "ate the volcano."
