Cap Maison Resort & Spa is a luxurious hotel and private villas set in a stunningly beautiful place. It has a passion for food and wine. In a fantastic place with a secluded sandy beach, this is where you can stay. At the same time, it is in an area that is good for both guests who want to be active and those who want to relax.
The Villa Suites are cozy and beautiful, making it feel like a private home (but with excellent hotel services). A family runs the hotel, so guests can expect friendly service that won't be intrusive. The decor, service, and food need to be carefully considered. The Cliff at Cap and the Naked Fisherman are two of the best places to eat on the island. They also have one of the best walk-in wine cellars on the island.
You can drive to St. Lucia's only high-end resort about 10 minutes from Cap Estate, which is about 10 minutes away. You can also see Pigeon Island and Martinique from the Cliff at Cap restaurant. However, there is no direct way to get to Cap Maison's "own" beach.
Guests who stay here can get to Smugglers Cove by going through the side door and 92 steps. People who live near the hotel also use the hotel's bar and restaurant and its sun loungers and water sports. In addition, Rodney Bay, a 20-minute commute, has plenty of good dining and shopping options.
Arches, courtyards, fountains, tilework in terracotta urns, and perfectly maintained tropical gardens with springy grass and colorful vegetation everywhere characterize Cap Maison. The bar in the lobby, for example, operates on an honest basis. This gives guests the impression that they are in a private house and a hotel.
Owned by a local family, the owners are often on the property. Therefore, no mistakes can be made in Ross Stevenson's way of running a business. There are two swimming pools at the hotel, one on top of a cliff and one in a courtyard. This pool and roof terrace combination is irresistible. The hotel also gives guests free use of watersports equipment in Smugglers Cove.
There are 49 guestrooms, suites, and villas in the complex. These are in ten whitewashed two-story buildings. Everything is stylish and exquisite, using cedarwood flooring, Jalousie shutters and bright cushions, and Mexican hand-painted tiles in bathrooms. Wicker-furnished patios complete the picture. However, the Garden View Rooms are modest compared to the Oceanview Villa Suites at the very top. Ask whether a particular unit has greater privacy than others.
Additionally, villas include separate kitchens with wood cabinetry and mosaic-tile backsplashes and separate living and dining area. In the bathrooms, travertine is used, and washers and dryers are also offered. Only the bedrooms have air conditioning, while the kitchen and living spaces have ceiling fans. Four-poster beds, walk-in closets, wi-fi, and whirlpool patios are standard features in the split-level Villa Suites with Jacuzzis.
Furthermore, suites with a private pool and sea view are available in the Villa Suite with Pool. There are just a few rooms in the Villas Suites with Balcony or Terrace category with separate baths and rooftop pools. Families and friends traveling together may take advantage of the hotel's interconnecting rooms and suites.
As one of St. Lucia's "foodie" hotels, this hotel is often visited and well-liked by the people there. The Caribbean Journal has just named Chef Craig their 2016 Caribbean Chef of the Year, and he is delighted. At the Cliff at Cap, you can eat modern French Caribbean food in a beautiful setting.
The Naked Fisherman has a more casual but still delicious seafood experience (non-seafood options). Whether you're having a wine and food pairing or a private dinner, the walk-in wine cellar complements the food. The house-made Cap Maison Solera Rum is one of the best things on the menu.
Saint Lucia is the Eastern Caribbean's best place to eat, with food with both the Caribbean and French influences.
Listen to the gentle sound of the waves or enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the deck while your toes are in the sand.
The Cliff Bar's sunset cocktails have gone up a notch thanks to the addition of a cocktail deck. It looks out over the lovely island of Martinique, which makes the already beautiful ocean views even better. The "Fish@Cap" bar menu from Chef Craig Jone will be great for guests who want to relax and eat in the bar while taking in the views. You will enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in the Caribbean when the bar closes at 5 p.m.
You can watch a game on a big screen TV, play cards with friends and family, or look through the vast library. This beautiful area in the middle of the house has a selection of food and wine, homemade rums, rum punches, and beers.
Spa Maison's treatments for men and women use products made by Sothys of Paris. Massages, facials, and exfoliation procedures are all available at the spa to help you relax and let go of stress. Enjoy a tisane or a cool drink on the spa's terrace after your treatment.
You can also watch the birds and trees as you drink your drink. You can turn your suite or room, the Rock Maison, or a gazebo into a private spa for you and your friends for an extra fee. Guests can use the modern gym in the main house, next to the spa, whether they're with a group or want to work out in their own Villa Suite.
The hacienda-style Cap Maison Hotel in northern St. Lucia is the most luxurious place to stay, and it also has two of the island's best restaurants. The view from the clifftop is also a significant selling point. There is a charming cove beach at the foot of a long flight of steps.
