Nopsi Hotel New Orleans

Nopsi Hotel New Orleans is the first high-end hotel in New Orleans, United States. It's unique in its architecture, elegant in its industrial styles and timeless in its elegance. Nopsi Hotel has some of the most elegant rooms and suites in the city, a lively restaurant, 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and a sophisticated bar and rooftop pool.

Location

The Nopsi Hotel New Orleans is in the heart of New Orleans' Central Business District. It's within walking distance to the French Quarter, the Warehouse and Lower Garden Districts, Lafayette Square, and the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. There are four new hotels that have opened up on this block of the Central Business District.

It looks and feels like it's been resurrected. Even though the French Quarter is only three blocks away from where you are now, there aren't as many people there as when you first got there. The main street in the lively French Quarter, Bourbon Street, is only a six-minute walk away from the hotel.

Style and Character

Because this was built in 1927 to house New Orleans Public Service Inc. (the city's utility company) and its employees, it has a lot of styles. The soaring ceilings in the foyer make it challenging to imagine city residents standing in line to pay their power bills.

To further evoke the decadence of the 1930s and 1940s, the space has columns and polished flooring. Brass and blue velvet chairs are an excellent choice for a retro atmosphere. This is a high-class establishment, even though you can see exposed brick and pulley systems. They add to the vintage look.

Service and Facilities

The service is as good as it gets from the doorman to the people at the front desk and the bar. All of the people who work at the hotel have been trained to be friendly and helpful. For example, managers help with luggage at noon check-out time, and bartenders act as unofficial concierges.

This hotel wants to be in the growing New Orleans rooftop bar scene. So they have an oversized patio with a small outdoor pool and a few lounge chairs. There is also a fitness center onsite. Getting valet parking is the only way to get onsite parking, but it comes with a pretty hefty price.

Rooms and Suites

The 217 rooms at the Nopsi Hotel New Orleans are all white and have flat-screen TVs, iPod docks, and air-conditioning. They also have free Wi-Fi. These rooms are supremely comfortable, welcoming, and well-equipped with modern conveniences for today's most discerning travelers. There are coffeemakers, minibars, trays with Mardi Gras masks, and local snacks. There are robes, a safe for your clothes, and other things in the closet. Of course, irons, ironing boards, and other items are also there.

There are also large bathrooms with countertops and marble floors with walk-in showers, hairdryers, and toiletries from Mistral. The guest room design is a high level of luxury, with elegant furnishings and decor unique to the building's industrial history. In addition, they come in a variety of different room types.

There are more sitting areas in Junior Suites than in Deluxe Suites. The Deluxe Suite has living areas and bathrooms with deep soaking tubs, too. Some separate bedrooms and terraces look out over the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and the city's business district in the Power Suites, so they are the best units.

Restaurant and Bar

The food makes the most of Nopsi's great location on the Gulf of Mexico. Flexible menus feature a wide variety of hand-tossed pizzas, creative food presentations, a raw bar, Gulf Coast seafood, and a wide variety of craft, draft, and bottled beers from around the world. In addition, guests can enjoy a lively dining environment and live local entertainment. The Public Service Restaurant can host up to 150 guests at a time.

Henry's Gin Bar

The Imperial Cabinet Saloon was built in 1888, and Ramos bought it in 1888. It was there that his Gin Fizz made its name. As far back as the late 1800s, Crescent City locals have savored the Ramos Gin Fizz. It was created by Henry C. Ramos and had a unique taste thanks to orange flower water and a frothy top because beaten egg whites were used to make the foam.

Above the Grid

Above the Grid, the rooftop bar and pool at Nopsi is a popular destination for hotel guests, visitors, and locals alike. It provides a unique vantage point from which to take in the cityscape. In addition, a private cabana overlooking the city's skyline will allow hotel guests to rest and unwind while sipping on a cold drink and enjoying a nutritious meal. After 4 p.m., however, the intensity level rises, and the bar becomes one of New Orleans' most elite venues, providing the background for the city's trendiest scene.

Pets

Your dogs are more than just companions. They're part of your family. Nopsi Hotel New Orleans is excited to welcome you and your furry friends with open paws and arms. They look forward to having you stay with them. This is a pet-friendly hotel, and you'll soon see that your dogs get as much attention as you do.

Let the staff know if there's anything you or your friend might need while you're here. They are there to help. However, there is a fee for each stay for a dog or cat, and it's not refundable.

Area and Attractions

Uniquely, Nopsi Hotel New Orleans is in the heart of New Orleans' bustling Central Business District, on the corner of Baronne Street and Union Street. It's just a few minutes away from the vibrant energy and excitement that make the city so unique.

Just a few steps away, guests can also visit one of the world's most famous and culturally rich places, the historic French Quarter. This romantic neighborhood is full of beautiful buildings, wrought-iron balconies, cobblestone streets, and colorful courtyards. It's a favorite of foodies, music fans, and antique lovers.

Takeaway

As soon as you walk into Nopsi Hotel New Orleans, you'll feel like you're in a great place. People used to come here to pay their electricity bills, but now the building is cutting an extensive, bold line through an area of the Central Business District that used to be very quiet.
